So this is our new casa! We really like it here and are getting use to calling this home. Our bedroom really needs some help but we are working on it. We do have a couch to crash on if anyone wants to make a trip to Vegas, we'd love it!!!

Lake Mead

So on Saturday Jeff and I decided to check out Lake Mead. It's way close, like 15 miles and we had a blast! We took our lunches with us and set out on a little adventure. The weather was perfect, thank goodness, high 60s. I am way out of shape so just the little hiking we did about killed me! I definetly wouldn't have made it if it were 100 degrees! See, there's more to do out here than just gamble!

Well we made to Las Vegas safe and sound and into our apartment after having quite the run around. I called on our way down to make sure that everything was good to go and just to let them know that we'd be there around 5pm. Well come to find out the apartments office hours are 9am-6pm but move ins are only 10am-4pm. Hello!?! Why didn't anyone tell us this before??? So I was a little frustrated about that and then we had to have our power turned on before we could move in, no big deal right? Well since we'd never had power through Nevada before we had to go to the office which was clear across town to show ID and they closed at 6pm. We went there and barely made. Needless to say we ended up sleeping in the parking lot of the apartment complex that night but we moved in Friday! I'm so glad that is over! I'll post pictures of the apartment when I've got it a little more organized.

Family Fun!

My family all got together on May 11th to celebrate birthdays, Mothers day, talking to Andrew and saying goodbye to Jeff and I. We always have a good time when we are all together and I am so grateful for such a wonderful family! It was such a nice day we all decided to go outside and "play". One good thing about by mom doing daycare is that she has toys. Paige and I decided that it had been a whild since we'd "played" together so we did. I have to addmit that I was a little sore after being in that little car, but it sure was fun!

We are moving!

Las Vegas here we come! Jeff has decided to go to UNLV for nursing school. This way he will get done quicker and we will be able to come back to Utah! We are way excited and a little nervous. We are moving on May 15th and school starts on May 19th. I'm planning on working as a pharmacy tech and Jeff is going to go to school for the summer and look for a CNA job in the fall. We will miss our family and friends so much but we are excited for this new adventure in our lives!
