Families are Forever

What a wonderful day we had on Saturday. We made a quick trip up to Utah and we able to be apart of Janiel and Klaas' sealing! The spirit was so strong the entire time and I loved every second of it! I didn't get very many pics but here are a few.

The Mayberry Clan in front of the Temple

And the flowers were beautiful!!!

And it worked out perfectly that Paige and Bart were in town too! Gracie is getting so big and she is so much fun! This isn't a very good picture, right in front of the window but you can still see the cuteness :o)

And being bored on the journey back home...

and of course the Sweet Serum that gets Jeff through these long trips!

It was a quick trip but and awesome one at that! We love our families so so much and are grateful for the time we were able to share with them! Thanks for a great weekend fam, we love you all!

Study Buddy

I called Jeff yesterday on my lunch and asked him what he was up to. He told me that he had been studying but was working on making himself a dummy to help him study. When I got home from work this is what I found...

I'd like you all to meet Chip Cheerio, he is Jeff's study buddy.

For school Jeff has to do all different assessments and memorize everything for all of them. For example a Skin assessment: "have you noticed any change in skin color, change in moles, or skin texture?" So to practice all of this fun stuff he made Chip. I asked why hands and feet? He said he has to check for a pulse! I was so impressed with Jeff creativity I had to share :o)

Katie Bug

I am such a slacker...my sweet sister Katie turned 13 on the 21st and I wanted to give her a birthday shout out!
I love you Bug and I'm so glad that you are apart of our family. You are growing up so fast, I can't believe that you are a teenager! Thanks for being such a good example to me and for being one of my best friends! I love you so much and miss you like crazy! Hope you had a great "birfnay"!

The Big 5-0!

My dad turned 50 on the 11th and I couldn't miss being there for this milestone in his life :)
We had a surprise party for him the weekend before his big day and I was able to fly home to be there for that. It was so fun to see lots of good friends and my wonderful family! I love them all so so much and am very blessed! Here are a few pics... My dad is known for dressing up as the Grim Reaper for peoples birthdays and scaring the living daylights out of them! My little brother Alex decided to follow in dads footsteps.

Just a random pic of me and my cute mom, I love this lady so so much!

And I got to play with sweet Gracie all weekend long! She is getting so big and is so cute and fun. Grandpa was nibbling her side and she would laugh so hard...so cute!

My cute siblings and niece....just missing Andy. But he'll be home in 7 months, I can't believe it! I miss him like crazy, it'll be so fun to have him home :)
It's always fun to see my family and spend some quality time together. They are the best and I can't wait until my next visit! I had to leave poor Jeffy in Vegas, he couldn't miss school. So it was nice to come back to, I missed him!
Hope everyone is doing well! We are doing great and loving Vegas weather right now...it was 80 degrees today! (I know you're jealous)

Girls Day

Today is Girls Day (it is celebrated in Hawaii) and I thought I'd give a quick shout out to some of the girls in my life...

The newest little girl in my life...sweet Gracie Lou. I love her so much and can't wait to see her soon! It's amazing how much joy a little one can bring. Our family would not be complete without her!!!

I love these girls so so much and miss them like crazy. They are my best friends and we did a ton together through high school. It's hard when we all move away and we don't get to hang out like we used to but I still consider them my best friends. We have been through lots together! I love you girls!

Jeff's cute step sisters and wonderful step mom. I'm so grateful to have these ladies in my life and love them tons!

Sweet Janiel...she does so much for our family and is the greatest sister to her two crazy brothers and to me. I look up to her so much and I'm so grateful for the wonderful person she is! Love you tons!

Jeff's wonderful mother...I didn't get to know her as well as I would have liked to but she raised a wonderful son and I'm so grateful for that! I'm just grateful for the plan of salvation and the knowledge that we will be together again! Love you Diane!

My angel Grandma...she is my rock and the greatest example I could ever ask for! I look up to her so much and appreciate our weekly phone calls and her sweet letters each month. I love you so so much!

Where do I even begin with these 3 angels...I tear up just thinking about them. I love you 3 so much and I don't know what I'd do without you. We are far away from each other but I still feel so close and know that I could go to you for anything. Thank you for your love and support and for being my best friends!
There are so many more girls in my life that I love and have made a huge impact on my life...I love you all and I'm so grateful for each one of you! Have a great Girls Day!!!

Boring...

So we are still alive...we just don't live very exciting lives- hence not much to blog about.

Jeff is officially in the nursing program at UNLV and has been studying like crazy! Every night when I get home from work I find him studying. He's such a good student and is working so hard to do well in school and so far it has paid off! He is doing so well in his classes.

This is a pic of Jeffy on his first day of nursing school. He wasn't cooperating so it's not the best picture.

I've been keeping busy at work and enjoy working with feet.....(i like to be optimistic) It really isn't that bad. People ask the doctor I work for all of the time why he choose podiatry and he tells them that he was going to be a dentist but after job shadowing for one day decided he'd rather do dry and flaky rather than wet and gooey and I totally agree! I love the people I work with and am very blessed to have a job! This is a link to where I work so you can see where I go every day :)

Sorry, not a very exciting post. Hopefully something better soon.

Peace out
