A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS

Hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas! I can't believe that it is already over, it goes so fast. We had a blast getting to see family and friends and spend Christmas with those we love. Here are a few pictures of our Christmas adventures...

The family got Guitar Hero: World Tour so we jammed out. Jeff is a hard core bass player!

The Beecher Christmas party was on Christmas eve and it was great to see aunts, uncles, and cousins. We missed those who couldn't make it!

and of course I got to spend some time with my sweet niece Gracie Lou, I love that face! (thanks for the pic Katie)

And we got to talk to Elder Beecher! It was so fun to hear his voice and listen to how much he has grown. He was so cute and asked Alex and Katie how their Book of Mormon reading was. He's such an example to all of us!

You can't keep warm in Russia without a Shopka! He bought one for my dad and Alex so they could stay warm too...

Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Sorry to those we didn't get to see while we were in town. It's so hard to get around to see everyone, especially with all of the Christmas parties that were going on. But we love you all and are thankful for you in our lives!

Winter Wonderland

You can't really tell that it is even snowing in this first picture. If you look at the bushes you can see a little...

...and when I went to my car. It's scary to be on the road with a bunch of people that don't know how to drive. They were saying on the news that it hasn't snowed this much in like 30 years, crazy! and that is all they are talking about on the news.

It's suppose to snow most of tonight also, we'll see what the morning brings!

my favorite place

Just wanted to express how thankful I am for a temple so close to us. It is by far my very favorite place to go here in Vegas and it is so beautiful! I am so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and to know that our families can be forever! I love my family and friends so much. My heart is so full, especially this time of year and I just want everyone to know how thankful we are to have you all in our lives.

What's up?

Not a whole lot has been happening with us but I thought I'd share some things we have been doing. A couple of weeks ago we headed down to Nellis air force base to watch an air show they had going. It was way cool and reminded me how lucky I am to be an American! They had a ton of different air crafts there to look at and of course we had to check out every single one. I have a ton of pictures but here are a few that we took while we were there.

I love this picture of Jeffy. It's him "nerdin' it" a.k.a. playing xbox. It's his way of keeping in touch with his friends, whatever. I hate the dang thing!

Here's a group of us from our ward. We got together and made these cute turkeys. It was lots of fun!

We went and fed the ducks one day at a park near where we live.

And our most recent adventure, a hike up Red Rock Canyon. Jeffy singing to me as we enter the "wilderness"!

And last but not least, Jeff took me to see Twilight tonight. He's so sweet for taking me and I love him so much for it, thanks babe! I really liked the movie but I don't think that it was near as good as the book. Jeff actually didn't think it was too bad and said that he'd see the other movies with me as well! I tried to convince him to just read the books but that's where he draws the line :)

So that's what we have been up to. Now we are just counting down the days till Thanksgiving. We are so excited to see our family and friends! Hope that everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

He's In!

We just found out that Jeff has been accepted to the Nursing program at UNLV. We are so so excited! He will start in January and it's a 15 month program. I am so proud of him, he is such a hard worker and will do so well! Thanks to all of our family and friends for their prayers. We definetly couldn't do it without the help of our Heavenly Father. We are so blessed and I am so thankful for the gosple in my life. I don't know what I'd do without it. We are so blessed!!!!

I was tagged by Robin to do a post about my sweetheart (isn't he hansom!).

*What is your husband's name? Jeffery

*How long have you guys been married? 3 years & 3 months

*How long did you date? 5 months (but we'd known each other a lot longer!)

*Who is taller? He is by about 3 inches

*Who can sing the best? Jeff for sure but he would never admit to it. He would sing to me all of the time when we were dating, and I love his voice!

*Who is smarter? He's is much smarter when it comes to school stuff, but I think I'm street smart :)

*Who pays the bills? I do

*Who does the laundry? Majority of the time me. He struggles a little with the laundry. When we were first married he'd do a load of laundry and then forget about it. All of these wet clothes would sit in the washer for days. I would find them when they started to stink. I banned him from doing laundry for a while!

*Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does, it's closer to the door.

*Who mows the lawn? We've never had a lawn to mow but if we did I think I would. I like to mow!

*Who cooks dinner? I've been so bad at this, so usually he does. He's a great cook!

*Who is the first to admit when they're wrong? Neither one of us are very stubborn. I'm not sure.

*Who kissed who first? I guess he kissed me first, but he was sorta forced :) It was new years and his friends were giving him a hard time. So with everyone watching us, he kissed me. It was so embarrissing at the time but so funny now!

*Who wears the pants? We each wear a leg :)
