3 Wonderful Years!

I just wanted to wish Jeff a happy anniversary! We have been married for 3 whole years, oh how time flies! These last three years have been the happiest of my life and I just wanted everyone to know how much I love my sweet husband!

Moving to Las Vegas has been a hard transition but it has been so good for us. I have loved being able to spend more time with Jeff and being able to grow together. I'm so grateful for him and the wonderful friend he is to me. I love how Jeff makes me laugh, he's always doing something to make me smile. I love his beautiful blue eyes and gorgeous smile! I love what a handy man he is and that he can fix anything. I love that he likes to cook and he gets creative with his food. I love that he tries to do laundry :) I love that he is such a hard worker and is so dedicated to school, he wants what is best for our family. I love the relationship he has with his family and how close they are. I love that he is so patient and puts up with me. I love that he served a mission and loves to serve others. I could go on and on but I just want him to know how much I love him and how grateful I am that he is mine! We still laugh when we look back at high school, who would have thought we would've ended up together. I always think of that Garth Brooks song "Unanswered Prayers" Heavenly Father definetly knows what is best for us. He's my very best friend and I am so glad that I get to spend eternity with him. I love you Jeffy!!!!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

I just wanted to wish my grandma a happy birthday! She is the sweetest, most caring lady and I am so grateful for her! She is such a great example to me and I love her so much! She is so thoughtful and is always taking care of everybody. She sends Jeff and I a card on the 4th of every month to wish us happy so many month anniversary. She drives to my mom's house once a week to help her with the daycare kids she watches and she always brings dinner with her. I look up to her so much and I strive each and every day to be more like her. I love her so much. We hope you have a great birthday Grandma we love you!

Our Pioneer Day

So we didn't get to celebrate the 24th like we would have in Utah but our stake did do a Pioneer Days parade on the 19th that we were able to go to.

This is our ward float. It said "seeds of progression" and the primary kids
would stick their little heads out of the hole, they were the seeds!

This was my favorite. All of the Elders in the area carrying a giant flag.
It was way cool and reminded me of my cute brother!

They had a breakfast and some games at the park after but we didn't stick around for very long. It was much too warm!

He'll Eat ANYTHING!!!

So Jeff will eat anything! It's nice because he doesn't ever complain about my cooking but it is sometimes so gross the things he comes up with. The other day he decided to have a good ole peanut butter and honey sandwich but he totally ruined it when he decided to add a hotdog to it...

...and yes he ate it!!! He comes up with such wierd combinations of food. The other night he had a dream that he ate a baked potatoe with ice cream and carmel and now he's bound and determined to try it! He's eaten bananas wrapped in a tortilla, when we went on our cruise he would try everything! He keeps me entertained and I love him so much!

MEMORIES

I found this on Kelsey's blog and thought it would be fun to try.
Here's how it goes:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I or you and Jeff have had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next (if you choose to), re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July, it is one of my favorites! We were pretty lazy most of the day, food swimming, more food, some fireworks, more food...it was great! We started out with some red, white, and blue pancakes and they were cute and tasty! Then we spent some time by the pool.

My moms cousin lives here and they were so kind and invited us over for a BBQ and some fireworks, it was a blast! They have 4 cute kids and it was lots of fun to watch them watch the fireworks. Here are some pics...

sam, me, and soph doing sparklers

this is chaseton, he spent most of the time on his bike

Sophia was so funny, I said picture and
she would automatically pose

samuel was so funny, he always put his
hand over his mouth when he'd do a sparkler

and cute baby ethan... so precious

It was so fun hanging out with family and those kids are very entertaining. Sophia loved Jeff, she kept asking him if he had a girlfriend and during the fireworks she kept trying to kiss him, it was so funny. Hope everyone else had a good holiday. I'm so grateful to live in America and for the freedoms we enjoy, I love the 4th of July!

All American Night!

oooooh, aaaaaah

Go Bees!

The Johnsons and the Jensens

So what's more American than a baseball game and fireworks!?! Our cute new friends Curt and Amanda invited us to a Las Vegas 51s game. It was a blast and what are the odds...they played the Salt Lake Bees! We totally were rooting for the Bees and getting some nasty looks from those sitting around us but oh well! The Bees won 13-2, it was a good game! Then after the game there were fireworks! We really had a fun time, you just had to ignore the heat and get use to being sticky and sweaty.
