New Calling...

So excited!

Today I was called and set apart as the Mia Maid advisor in our ward. I love the young womens program so much and I am so excited to be serving in this organization again. I really think that this is for more my benefit than anything. I learn so much from those girls and have made amazing friendships while serving in previous callings!

Anyone with any fun ideas or good web sites, please share!

Jeff turned 26 today and even though he didn't have the most exciting birthday I hope that he still had a good day and he remembers how much he is loved! Your the Best Jeff and I'm so proud and grateful for you. Happy Birthday Love!!!

Time flies when you're having fun...

On August 4th Jeff and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary! I can't believe how fast time flies. These have honestly been the best 4 years of my life! Jeff is my very best friend and I am so grateful to call him mine! Just want him to know how much I LOVE him and am thankful for all that he does for me. Love you babe!


The beautiful flowers he bought me...he made sure there were orange (my fav color) Gerbera Daisies (my fav flower)...so thoughtful :o)

We ate a yummy dinner at Cheese Cake Factory and we got to try their new Red Velvet Cheese Cake...words cannot describe this heavenly creation, it is a new favorite! He was so cute and bought a #4 candle to blow out :o)

And us after 4 years of marriage. It's fun to look back at how we met and ended up together. If someone told me in High School that I was going to marry Jeff Johnson I would have never believed them...he was just my good buddy and now look at us! I wouldn't change a thing and thank my Heavenly Father each and everyday for such a wonderful husband!

Hello family and friends...we are alive and doing well, just haven't had much to blog about.

We have officially started summer and are very grateful for Air Conditioning and swimming pools (both of which we use quite often) We will be glad when summer is over but are doing our best to enjoy it!

We had a great 4th of July and spent the day with my sweet cousin and her family. We are so lucky to have them close and love spending time with them. We are at their house weekly and just love them to pieces! Here are a few pics of some fun times with them:

They have a fire pit in their backyard and we decided to roast marsh mellows one night. Well Ethan (pictured above) squishes all of his food before he eats it and this was the result of the mallows. If you notice he has one stuck to the front of his shirt as well. We were all laughing so hard, he for sure keeps us entertained! :o)

I was able to go home for a visit in June and it was tons of fun! My sis Katie and I drove up to Idaho to spend the day with my other sis Paige and my sweet niece Grace. It's so fun to hang with my sisters, I miss them so much and I'm so glad we get along so well!

On the way up Katie had said something about coloring her hair...I mentioned it to Paige and next thing we knew Katie was getting a new doo!

I didn't get a before pic but this is after. Doesn't she looks so pretty? She is growing up so fast!

And I can't post without adding a picture of Grace! Isn't she the cutest thing ever! Poor thing has been getting lots of ear infections and so she is getting tubes put in soon :o( We hope you get feeling better soon Gracie Lou, we love you so so much!

Recap of May

I'm the worse blogger ever, I just haven't been very motivated to blog. Here's some of the things that happened in May...

We Moved!

We moved just down the street from our old apartment. Our lease ended and they wanted to raise the rent so we decided to look around. We found this apartment that is a lot cheaper and tiny bit bigger. I hate moving but I'm glad it's over and we have a little extra mula!

Janiel came for a visit!

It was so fun to have her here for a few days. I had to work while she was here :o( but she and Jeff got to spend a lot of time together. They have such a good relationship and I know Jeff was excited to have her here but very sad when she had to go. We love you Janiel and miss you guys tons!

We got to practice our parenting skills.

One of the doctors I work for and his wife spent the night at a hotel for his birthday and we got to watch their 3 cute kids. This little one is so cute but hate me! She wanted nothing to do with me but thankfully LOVED Jeff. As long as he had her she was fine :o) He didn't let me forget that she loved him more for the rest of the week!

My favorite part of summer!

I love watermelon so much and was so excited to get my first watermelon of the year!!!

Memorial Day we went on a hike

We both had Memorial Day off so we rode the bike up to Mt Charleston and went on a hike. It was nice and cool up there and is our favorite place to go. I told Jeff that I feel the most at home here when we are in the Mountains or in the Temple...my two favorite places in Vegas!

Camping!

We went camping with some friends the next weekend and had a great time! Jeff made us some fabulous hobo dinners!

And we got some great Peach cobbler and did S'mores (my favorite part of camping!)

We went up Friday night and had plans of going on a hike Saturday morning but those plans quickly changed when it started raining on us. So we packed up and went home. We had a great time and are so glad that we have such great friends to go with!

That's about all we've been up to. Jeff had finals a couple of weeks ago and did great! He had a 2 week break between semesters and was able to meet some friends in St George and go to Zion. He had so much fun and I'm so glad he was able to go. Sadly those 2 weeks have come and gone and he is back at studying like a mad man.

My cute brother Alex graduated and I can't believe it! I was so sad that I wasn't there to support him but I get to make a visit to Utah next week and I'm so excited! I'm bummed Jeff doesn't get to come with me :o( but it will be fun to see family and friends! Hope everyone is doing well and I'll try to do better at posting.

The Greatest Website...

My mom emailed me a link to this website and my life has never been the same. I don't mind cooking but I hate coming up with things to make for dinner! Jeff is not a picky eater (thank goodness!) but he is no help at all when I ask him for dinner ideas...well problem solved. This site has tons of ideas and they are way easy. I hope this website brings you as much joy as it has brought me :o)

Families are Forever

What a wonderful day we had on Saturday. We made a quick trip up to Utah and we able to be apart of Janiel and Klaas' sealing! The spirit was so strong the entire time and I loved every second of it! I didn't get very many pics but here are a few.

And it worked out perfectly that Paige and Bart were in town too! Gracie is getting so big and she is so much fun! This isn't a very good picture, right in front of the window but you can still see the cuteness :o)

It was a quick trip but and awesome one at that! We love our families so so much and are grateful for the time we were able to share with them! Thanks for a great weekend fam, we love you all!
